Our priority is to provide our students with the resources necessary to earn their High School Equivalency Diploma, bachelor’s degree, and certificate in the field of their choice, and to learn basic life skills. What is General Educational Development (GED)?
The General Educational Development tests are a group of four academic subject tests in the United States and Canada that certify equivalent academic knowledge for a high school diploma.
About GED
The GED test has four main areas of assessment:
- Mathematical Reasoning
- Reasoning Through Language Arts
- Science
- Social sciences
You will take four separate tests that together make up the entire GED test. Each test lasts at least an hour, and you must get a certain score to pass. You can schedule one test at a time or all four at once. To learn more about the GED test, click this link https://ged.com/ and you will be directed to the My GED homepage.
Feel free to watch this one-minute video that explains all about the GED.
