Vito Veneruso
Chief Executive Officer
Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vito Veneruso, joined the Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF) on March 9, 2026.
Vito has 16 years of leadership experience within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and a lifelong commitment to service. Throughout his career, Vito has been guided by a simple belief: healthcare is most powerful when it is accessible, compassionate, and rooted in the community it serves. Vito has dedicated his professional life to strengthening systems that remove barriers to care and advance health equity for underserved populations. As a former Chief Operating Officer for FQHCs in New Jersey, he worked collaboratively with clinical teams, staff, and community partners to improve quality outcomes, expand services, and create patient-centered environments built on dignity and trust. His experience within both a Community Action Agency and an FQHC community uniquely positions him to help guide us in addressing the needs of our community.
Vito also served as Director of Emergency Management at the New Jersey Primary Care Association (NJPCA) and as Safety and Security Manager within FQHC systems. Vito earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration with highest distinction and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice with honors from Ashworth College. Before his leadership careers, Vito served as an agent with the Anti-Terrorism Agency of the Italian National Police and as an EMT — experiences that instilled in him a profound respect for public service and community protection. He continues that commitment today as a firefighter for the Township of Dunellen and as a CPR Instructor with the American Red Cross.
Outside of his professional life, Vito values family, faith, and service. He and his wife, Joscelyne, enjoy traveling to the Dominican Republic and supporting initiatives that strengthen community well-being.
